It has already established a high-end automobile industry system led by Beijing Mercedes-Benz and is accelerating the construction of a new energy intelligent automobile industry system represented by companies like Xiaomi, Great Wall Saloon, and Jidu Auto. Key enterprises in this sector include Beijing Mercedes-Benz, Xiaomi Automotive, BAIC New Energy, Great Wall Saloon, and Jidu Auto.

In the automotive components sector, the area has introduced new energy intelligent connected vehicle component companies like Toyota, Beijing Trinova Auto Tech Co Ltd, Qing Tao (Kunshan) Energy Development Co Ltd, and TsingCar (Beijing) Technology Co Ltd. This continuous enhancement of the automotive industry structure aims to boost the area’s core competitiveness. Key enterprises in this sector include ZF, Beijing BAI Lear Automotive Systems Co Ltd, BorgWarner, Grammer, Gestamp, and Magna.
Innovation platforms have also seen significant progress. The area has introduced three national-level research and development platforms: the China Intelligent and Connected Vehicles (Beijing) Research Institute Co Ltd, the National New Energy Vehicle Technology Innovation Center, and IAT Automobile Technology Co Ltd.
