Favorable policies for innovation and entrepreneurship

Beijing E-Town has introduced the "Ten Measures for Talent" 2.0 version policy, focusing on various aspects of talent introduction, cultivation, utilization, evaluation, mobility, and incentives, to empower employers.
During the 2023 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS), Beijing E-Town will provide a "2 (policies + measures) + X (support item list)" policy system to support the development of foreign-funded enterprises, including in the areas of business development, technological innovation, industry support, carrier support, green and low-carbon, financial support, and service guarantee.
Open platforms to expand industrial ecosystem
During the 2023 CIFTIS, 12 foreign enterprises signed investment projects with Beijing E-Town. Six international platforms decided to collaborate with Beijing E-Town.
Also, at the 2023 World Robot Conference, Beijing E-Town signed contracts for 16 cutting-edge robot projects. Among them, the area attracted seven key industrial projects in industries such as humanoid robots and medical robots to invest in or increase their investments, with a total investment of 3.5 billion yuan ($480.07 million).
During the HICOOL 2023 Global Entrepreneurs Summit, Beijing E-Town negotiated 31 projects in the fields of next-generation information technology, biomedicine, and intelligent manufacturing, and established connections with nine channels involving investment, human resources services, and parks.
As of now, 99 Fortune Global 500 companies have been attracted to establish their presence, with 1,187 foreign-invested enterprises entering the area.
Continuous upgrades and reforms create sound business environment

Over the years, amid Beijing's reform and opening-up, Beijing E-Town has been at the forefront of administrative approval reform, implementing 12 reform measures like one integrated license.
Just this year, the area has made significant progress in streamlining of administration, delegating powers, and improving regulation and services.
This April, Beijing issued the 6.0 version of the business environment optimization reform plan, designating Beijing E-Town as a comprehensive reform and innovation demonstration zone for business environment.
After that, Beijing E-Town have released work plans to better business environment, and proposed 97 reform measures, with 29 of which being pilot reform ones.
