During the event, Beijing E-Town signed strategic cooperation agreements with AstraZeneca, SF Express, Global Logistic Properties Ltd (GLP), and Zhongyi Future Technology.

Additionally, the area reached a cooperation consensus with the Ministry of Commerce's Foreign Trade Development Affairs Bureau.

The event also saw the release of the 20 optimization measures for improving the foreign investment environment of Beijing E-Town.

"Cancelling foreign investment restrictions in the manufacturing sector, supporting the expansion of foreign-funded projects in the cultural field through science and culture integration.”

From launching a round-the-clock multilingual foreign-related complaint hotline to provide comprehensive foreign-related consultation services to integrating foreign-related approvals into a streamlined process, the 20 optimization measures will offer a comprehensive guide for the systematic development of Beijing E-Town's foreign-related service system.

GLP considers Beijing E-Town a significant target market and a key investment area; SF Express plans to settle in the upcoming E-Town Comprehensive Bonded Zone and construct a central warehouse; AstraZeneca aims to support the construction of research-oriented wards/hospitals and strengthen supply chain links through a comprehensive collaboration with E-Town. Many Fortune Global 500 companies also expressed their commitment to the area during the promotional event.

"Over 15 years, we have welcomed the production of 1,000 domestically manufactured linear accelerators in Beijing E-Town." Zhang Xiao, global senior vice president of Varian Medical Systems, remarked. Presentations from companies such as GE Healthcare and SMC also showcased their prosperous business in the area.

"Talent Ten Policies 2.0 is the talent-friendly policy we have been eagerly anticipating, providing comprehensive support and guarantee for talent attraction, cultivation, and retention for local companies in terms of policy, funding, and services", according to a representative from Pharmaron, a platform providing integrated services for global new drug development.

In terms of policy implementation, Beijing E-Town took the lead in exploring a "second check, second verification, second review" approach, creating a model for concentrated policy implementation with "online one-network application, offline one-window acceptance."

This has facilitated intelligent verification, promoted instant application benefits, and realized the principles of "apply online, enjoy benefits instantly, and receive benefits immediately offline."

Since the launch of the policy implementation platform in April 2020, the amount of policy implementation has exceeded 10 billion yuan ($1.37 billion).
