The Royma Industrial CT Beijing R&D and Production Base project, located in Beijing E-Town, was recently officially completed.

As the largest industrial -base and testing center for computerized tomography, or CT, in north China, this project will support the enterprise in making continuous breakthroughs in the field of high-precision intelligent 3D CT measurement technology when it begins operations.

Ground was broken for the 20,000-square-meter project in April, and it required a total investment of 200 million yuan ($27.58 million). 

It is a comprehensive industrial base integrating R&D, production, sales and after-sales service. 

In recent years, Royma has overcome various challenges in CT scanning technology, core reconstruction algorithms, complex system architecture and ray source development. Some models independently developed by Royma have already filled the gap in China's high-end industrial CT testing equipment. 

To further improve its product structure and meet the requirements of the design and manufacturing environment for high-end products, Royma, attracted by the industrial environment, policies, and services in Beijing E-Town, registered a subsidiary in Beijing E-Town — Royma Optoelectronic Technology (Beijing) Co — and launched the Royma Industrial CT Beijing R&D and Production Base project.

According to the plan, the Royma Industrial CT Beijing R&D and Production Base project will be completed and begin operations in September. 

Once completed, it will establish a high-end intelligent 3D industrial CT production line, capable of producing high-precision X-ray online inspection system equipment, desktop micro-CT, flat-panel CT, high-resolution micro-CT, high-performance micro-CT, high-speed online flat-panel CT, high-energy industrial CT and other products.
