At a recent series of lectures on the "Two Zones" policy, experts from the Beijing Intellectual Property Protection Center focused on topics such as data intellectual property registration, patent preliminary examination and recommendations for prioritized patent examination.
They provided policy interpretations and practical training for representatives from nearly 20 local enterprises, empowering them for innovative development.
At the outset, experts focused on interpreting the "Beijing Municipal Measures for the Administration of Data Intellectual Property Registration (Trial)."
These measures not only specify the subject of data intellectual property protection, but also detail registration matters and other related content.
To deepen understanding, experts demonstrated how to access the Beijing data intellectual property registration platform, helping enterprises understand the application requirements for data intellectual property registration.
The platform has received 168 applications from 54 applicants for data intellectual property registration, 122 of which applications have successfully obtained data intellectual property registration certificates after public announcement.
Subsequently, experts discussed patent preliminary examination services based on the "Beijing Intellectual Property Protection Center Measures for Patent Application Preliminary Examination Services Management" and the "Beijing Intellectual Property Protection Center Guidelines for Patent Application Preliminary Examination Requests."
They detailed the requirements for preliminary examination filing, necessary materials, and agency appointments. In addition, they provided a thorough explanation of the conditions, documentation requirements and application process for prioritized patent examination.
