The Beijing office of SemiDrive Technology, a leading domestic automotive-grade chip company, relocated to the Dazu Industry Park in Beijing E-Town recently.
Founded in 2018, SemiDrive is dedicated to providing high-performance and highly reliable automotive-grade chip products and solutions for central computing and regional control electronic and electrical architectures, covering areas such as smart cockpits and intelligent vehicle control.
Two months ago, at the Beijing International Automotive Exhibition, SemiDrive released a new generation of central processors and regional controller automotive-grade chip product families.
The "1+N" central computing + regional control architecture introduced by the company provides centralized computing power support for automotive intelligence with one central computing platform (CCU) and adapts to different vehicle requirements with multiple flexible and configurable regional controllers (ZCU).
Additionally, to meet the diverse configuration needs of regional controllers (ZCU) under the new generation of EE architectures, SemiDrive introduced a new generation of ZCU product families, covering I/O-rich, control-fusion, and compute-intensive regional controllers, targeting core application scenarios such as body control, cross-domain fusion of body + chassis + power, and superpower domain control.
As a hub for the development of intelligent and connected vehicles, Beijing E-Town has already attracted over 120 intelligent and connected vehicle enterprises, forming two important vehicle production bases, Beijing Benz and Xiaomi Auto, and establishing several platform support institutions such as China Automotive Engineering Research Institute and National New Energy Vehicle Technology Innovation Center.
