The total import and export value of Beijing E-Town Bonded Logistics Center exceeded 12.3 billion yuan ($1.75 billion) from January to August this year, according to recently released General Administration of Customs data, ranking first among China's 82 bonded logistics centers.
Beijing E-Town Bonded Logistics Center, which was established in 2011, serves industries including biotechnology and health, new-generation information technology, high-end automobiles and intelligent connected vehicles, robotics and intelligent manufacturing. It integrates functions such as bonded warehousing logistics, customs clearance integration, export tax rebates, transit trade, and value-added services, and it is a special supervision site with bonded policies.
It was the first in the country to launch 24/7 on-site customs clearance services, implementing "appointment processing" and "expedited customs clearance" for companies in need. This service has been provided to more than 330 major enterprises. It has not only improved the production efficiency of enterprises but also reduced their capital turnover costs.
In recent years, the total import and export value of Beijing E-Town Bonded Logistics Center has increased significantly, rising from 360 million yuan in 2014 to 18.4 billion yuan in 2023. In the future, the center is expected to continue to enhance its service level, provide deep services to enterprises, and contribute to the continuous optimization of the regional business environment.
