The 2nd Urban Renewal Development Forum kicked off in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Beijing E-Town) on Oct 11.

The forum, themed "Renewing districts, creating the future with intelligence," was conducted both offline and online live broadcasts.

At the event, representatives from WDCE and the Development and Construction Bureau of Beijing E-Town respectively shared insights on the transformation of industrial functional areas and the renewal plan for the Beishenshu area, offering in-depth discussions on the practice of district renewal and the implementation plans.

In addition, the establishment ceremony of the "Beijing E-Town Green Building Industry Promotion Association" and the award ceremony for the E-Town's "Top Ten Classic Urban Renewal Cases" were held during this forum.

Experts and scholars from universities, research institutions, and design institutes also engaged in in-depth discussions on the theme of "E-Town New City Urban Renewal and Industrial-City Integration Development," exploring innovative models for district renewal and investigating the development trends of green and low-carbon buildings.
