In November, the delivery volume of Xiaomi SU7 electric vehicle once again exceeded 20,000 units. Behind this achievement lies the support of Xiaomi's intelligent production capabilities in its automotive factory.
Located in Beijing E-Town, Xiaomi's automotive factory covers an area of 718,000 square meters, including a research and testing base, six major production workshops, and a 2.5-kilometer-long test track. It is an automotive smart manufacturing park that integrates research and development, production sales and experience. The key processes in the body production workshop are 100 percent automated.
Meanwhile, ARCFOX's monthly sales volume ranked among the top six in the pure electric vehicle market in November. Apart from consistently enhancing its technology, ARCFOX achieved the success due to its understanding of customers’ needs and its willingness to listen to and adapt to user feedback. By focusing on the Beijing market and benefiting from localized sales support policies in the Chinese capital, ARCFOX's sales in Beijing surged to the top two for the first time in October.
In addition, SemiDrive and the international company BlackBerry QNX have further expanded their cooperation to jointly develop an automotive digital cockpit platform based on SemiDrive's X9 SoC chip.
With the comprehensive enhancement of the entire automotive industry chain in research, production, and sales, the scale of Beijing E-Town’s automotive industry cluster is expected to break through the 400 billion yuan ($55.05 billion) barrier by the end of the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-2030). Beijing E-Town aims to establish an industrial ecosystem that integrates new energy intelligent connected vehicle manufacturing, mobility services, and smart transportation.
