The Beijing International Audiovisual Conference 2024 is being held in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Beijing E-Town) from Dec 12 to 13.

Themed "AI: Where media meets the future", this year, the conference emphasizes international, forward-looking, and innovative aspects.

It features three main sections: international cooperation, industry revitalization, and technological empowerment, and includes an opening ceremony and main forum, 14 thematic forums and salons, as well as five supporting events.

The international cooperation section includes the China-Europe audiovisual AI industry cooperation forum, the international co-production seminar on film and television, the Belt and Road audiovisual service trade forum, the urban international communication innovation forum, and the new audiovisual international communication deans forum.

The industry revitalization section sets up the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei audiovisual industry cluster forum, a seminar on audiovisual industry classification standards, the audiovisual China investors conference, and the national smart filming and production industry salon.

The technological empowerment section features the in-car chip audiovisual innovation salon, the new audiovisual special effects production salon, the integrated development forum of immersive ultra-high-definition film and television, and smart radio and television: key technologies and unicorn salon.

Experts and scholars from over 20 countries and regions including the UK, France, Spain, Germany, Italy, India, Kazakhstan, New Zealand, Kenya, among others, come together to discuss the impact and challenges brought about by the application of technological innovations.

Meanwhile, supporting events, such as the night of E-Town concert, audiovisual AI creative competition, "AI future audiovisual" E-Town tour, "Audiovisual+" experience day, and audiovisual innovation achievement release conference, will bring participants an immersive AI audiovisual experience.
