Multiple intelligent manufacturing achievements produced by the leading companies based in Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Beijing E-Town) were publicly shown for the first time at the recent 16th Annual Congress of Chinese Orthopedic Association in Wuhan, Hubei province.

At this top academic event in the field of orthopedics in China, which is the largest in scale and has global influence, companies, such as Sino Vision, iKey Medical, and Longwood Valley Medtech, launched their new products, enhancing the reputation of "E-Town intelligent manufacturing".

A "standing" CT scanner launched by Sino Vision attracted great attention at the event. This is the OmegaCT One, a domestically pioneered, large-aperture, full-body, spiral vertical CT scanner. When a person is standing, the positions and shapes of their internal organs undergo significant changes compared with when they are lying down. Because of this, traditional supine imaging examinations often struggle to accurately reflect patients actual condition. The OmegaCT One can effectively solve clinical challenges, fundamentally avoid image stitching, and obtain complete full-body images with just one scan, leading imaging technology to new heights.

Meanwhile, iKey Medical, a business that produces orthopedic goods, launched its latest products, the Juve DDH Femoral Stem System and the Dual-motion Hip Joint System.

Both of these are important components in artificial hip joints. The Juve DDH Femoral Stem System targets the pain in the clinical treatment of developmental dysplasia of the hip by ensuring initial stability near the proximal end and mid- to long-term stability of the prosthesis through innovative design. The Dual-motion Hip Joint System's super-radius design helps prevent prosthesis dislocation, while its composite coating structure and press-fit design promote early bone integration.

In addition, Longwood Valley Medtech launched the ROPA® Orthopedic Smart Surgical Robot and the NAVIplasty Smart Hip Joint Surgical Robot during the conference.

The company has also signed cooperation agreements with TAOimage and Zhuoxin Medical for joint innovation.
