Unicom Digital Tech, located in the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area (Beijing E-Town), assisted the 9th Asian Winter Games recently held in Harbin with its cutting-edge technologies of Unicom Cloud.

During the event preparation phase, Unicom Cloud's conferencing service uses advanced network optimization and multiple encryption technologies to achieve multipoint synchronization and real-time interaction. This allows participants to see each other on-screen regardless of their location, significantly enhancing the efficiency of event preparation.

In addition, Unicom Cloud has created a dedicated cloud platform for the Asian Winter Games, hosting 23 key systems across four categories -- event management, results publication, information distribution and event support, which has covered the entire process from event preparation to conclusion. Efficient cloud resource allocation and powerful computing support ensure the smooth progress of all aspects of the event. Additionally, Unicom Cloud's operator-level security capabilities provide rigorous protection for event data, alleviating concerns about data breaches and security risks for event organizers and participants.

To ensure the response of emergency medical rescue teams during the games, Unicom Digital Tech deployed approximately 40 Yanfei 5G Customer Premise Equipment units (CPEs) for the deployment of medical emergency vehicles during the Asian Winter Games. These devices have been used to create a high-speed, stable, and secure mobile communication environment, building a "digital lifeline" for life-saving efforts. Medical data of patients can be synchronized from the rescue vehicle to the hospital in just three seconds. The 5G network has increased the efficiency of emergency response by more than 50 percent.

In traditional sports event broadcasts, high satellite transmission costs, complex cable laying, and unavoidable delays and echo issues have always been bottlenecks that restrict the scope of event broadcasting and audience experience. Unicom Cloud, with its powerful cloud broadcasting technology, has completely overcome these limitations. By uploading event video and streaming signals to the cloud, Unicom Cloud has provided domestic and international broadcasting institutions with a flexible and convenient cross-domain transmission and Asia-wide cloud broadcasting system. Regardless of their locations in Asia, audiences can watch exciting events in real-time through various terminal devices, feeling as if they are in the center of the arena and experiencing the thrilling passion of winter sports up close.
