The Compilation of Excellent Institutional Innovation Cases in the 'Two Zones' Construction of Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area in 2024 was recently issued. Six new outstanding institutional innovation cases were added, among which two were selected as the best practice cases at the municipal level, contributing the "E-Town sample" to the city's institutional innovation.

The six cases selected this time cover various fields, such as park construction, talent development, customs supervision and trade financing. They include: a new model of co-building a high-tech audiovisual industry park; a new model of talent development in integrated circuit "production-education integration"; optimization of customs inspection and supervision measures for import medical device production materials; taking the initiative in staged tax payment to promote trade financing; an innovative performance supervision model to create a full lifecycle management path; and optimization of the new model for inspection and supervision measures of imported legal inspection equipment and parts.

Two cases in particular, the new model of co-building a high-tech audiovisual industry park and the new model of talent development in integrated circuit "production-education integration", were selected as the best practice cases at the municipal level.

The new model of co-building a high-tech audiovisual industry park has established a super high-definition technology pilot platform, conducted one-stop testing and certification services, cultivated versatile professional talents and bridged the industry development policy support channels to construct an industry service system. It has become a benchmark and demonstration for the development of the national high-tech audiovisual industry.

Based on the School of Integrated Circuits at Tsinghua University, the new model of talent development in integrated circuit "production-education integration" has set up talent development courses at the forefront of the industry, with industry challenges serving as research topics. It aims to not only solve the difficulties in cultivating talents throughout the industrial chain but also accelerate the transformation of innovative achievements, promoting the rapid development of the integrated circuit industry.

Beijing E-Town will continue to focus on key areas and critical stages of industrial development and actively promote the application of these cases nationwide.
