The Liangshui River in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area
The green space area in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Beijing E-Town) now reaches 1,830 hectares, with a 94 percent coverage rate of park green space within a 500-meter service radius. The per capita park green space area reaches 21 square meters, yielding a "city surrounded by greenery, and people immersed in parks".
Over the years, Beijing E-Town has persisted in developing high-end industries alongside construction of residential environments, continuously enhancing urban resilience and striving to create a "new city in the garden".

The area regularly maintained tree pruning, replanting of roadside trees, watering for greening, and other maintenance work, and has created a distribution map of green space maintenance levels, providing strong support for subsequent maintenance work. A total of 350 monitoring points had been set up throughout the last year.

By late January this year, the insect database had increased to 289 species, and the number of bird species has risen to 321, accounting for over 60 percent of all bird species in Beijing.
In this area dedicated to innovation and entrepreneurship, science and technology coexist harmoniously with nature, and the city complements ecology.
