The Beijing International Data Cross-Border Services Co has begun operating in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Beijing E-Town).

Relying on the advantages of the country's first artificial intelligence data training base and Beijing E-Town's public artificial intelligence computing power platform, the company will provide data hosting, policy interpretation, compliance consulting, data governance, and other cross-border data services to government departments and enterprises at all levels, while also pursuing the establishment of offshore data centers.

"The company will serve the construction and operation of international data cross-border infrastructure in Beijing, support the implementation of the comprehensive reform plan for facilitating cross-border data flow, promote the construction of data cross-border service centers, facilitate industrial upgrading, and build a new mechanism and model for full-chain cross-border data services," said company chairman Yan Min.

The company will focus on four core businesses: improving comprehensive cross-border data service capabilities and providing end-to-end services including policy research, path consulting, risk assessment; establishing international data transmission lines and forming a full-chain data service covering computing, storage, processing, and transmission; building an international data circulation network and participating in the formulation of international data standards; creating a cross-border data service ecosystem and leading the establishment of the Beijing Cross-Border Data Compliance Service Industry Alliance.

"With the aim of building a globally leading international data cross-border infrastructure operation platform and data circulation hub center, Beijing International Data Cross-Border Services will drive the leap of new productive forces in the digital economy, contributing wisdom and strength to China's solutions and global governance," Yan added.
