Beijing E-Town extends investment promotion to the world

The investment promotion team dispatched by Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Beijing E-Town) established cooperation intentions with numerous well-known enterprises and institutions during the recently held 2025 Hannover Messe in Germany.

In Hannover, the investment promotion team visited the "Invest in China" exhibition area of the 2025 Hannover Messe, engaging in discussions with exhibitors.

The team met with Axel Gottlieb, international venue management director of Deutsche Messe AG, and Dr. Jan R. Seyle, director of artificial intelligence and control at Festo's Research and Development Center, introducing the development of key industries such as robotics and intelligent manufacturing in Beijing E-Town, as well as its favorable business environment and supportive policies. It expressed its intention for cooperation and invited them to visit and conduct research in the region.

Dr. Jan R. Seyle said: "Festo has been establishing a robotics research center in Asia, attaching great importance to Beijing's industrial and talent foundation. We hope to maintain communication and seek opportunities for cooperation. We will plan a visit to E-Town to explore potential collaboration."

In Frankfurt, the investment promotion team held a roundtable salon event with the BDS, an association of small and medium-sized enterprises in Hessen. The team introduced the one-stop solution for Chinese companies expanding internationally and global enterprises entering China provided from E-Town, as well as services such as international exhibition and business matchmaking, consultation on international trade rules and trade facilitation, cross-border supply chain integration and industrial park development and operation. During the discussions, the two sides agreed to sign a strategic cooperation agreement based on the negotiation details and to promote the visit of a BDS delegation to Beijing E-Town.

In addition to Hannover and Frankfurt, the investment promotion team also visited German cities, such as Heidelberg, Stuttgart and Munich, as well as Vienna, Austria. Through these visits, discussions, thematic exchanges, project forums and various forms of communication, the team explored cooperation opportunities, facilitated the cooperation intentions and expanded Beijing E-Town's global cooperation network.
