The 2025 World Robot Conference (WRC) will be held from August 8 to 12 at the Beiren Etrong International Exhibition and Convention Center, Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area (Beijing E-Town), followed by the two-day 2025 World Humanoid Robot Games taking place on August 15 at the National Stadium and the National Speed Skating Oval.

Around 500 guests from more than 20 countries and regions are expected to gather to discuss the new chapter of robot intelligence. The conference aims to provide new ideas and insights for the global implementation of robot applications. Around 200 robot companies will showcase their latest research and development achievements.

In addition to the opening and closing ceremonies, the 2025 WRC will include forums, related supporting activities, the world robot expo and the world robot competition.

The expo will showcase the latest technological achievements, promoting technological innovation and application implementation. With an exhibition area exceeding 50,000 square meters for the first time, the expo will focus on humanoid robots, expanding robot application scenarios, key technological breakthroughs, cutting-edge technological innovations, and new product launches. The number of participating companies is expected to exceed 200, with nearly 50 well-known humanoid robot manufacturers and over a hundred new products set to debut at the event.

The supporting activities will pay more attention to precise industry services, planning activities focusing on international cooperation, scenario applications, government-enterprise collaboration, supply and demand, industry-education cooperation, investment and financing for listing, financial services, and talent services.

The 2025 World Humanoid Robot Games is the world's first comprehensive competitive event organized for humanoid robots. It aims to showcase and evaluate the latest achievements in robotics through various competitive events, promoting the accelerated development of the industry. The competition will be divided into main events and peripheral events. The main events will focus on humanoid robot skill competitions, including athletics, soccer, dance, material handling, and pharmaceutical sorting; the peripheral events will emphasize entertainment and audience interaction, including badminton, table tennis, basketball, and others.

As the main area for Beijing's high-tech development and the permanent venue for the World Robot Conference, Beijing E-Town is driving the rapid development of the entire robotics industry chain. To date, E-Town has gathered more than 300 robotics and AI ecosystem companies, with the scale of the robotics industry chain exceeding 10 billion yuan ($1.38 billion), accounting for half of the city's total.

The robotics industry is currently at a critical stage of leapfrog development. Beijing E-Town, with precise policies, efficient services, and a complete ecosystem, will accelerate the construction of a leading domestic and internationally top-tier smart robotics industry demonstration new area.
