The national Intelligent Connected Vehicle (ICV) technology innovation promotion conference was recently launched in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Beijing E-Town), bringing together government resources, industry think tanks, and national-level innovation platforms to create an integrated ecosystem of "policy guidance - technological innovation - industrial implementation," aiming to help companies connect with core industry resources.
Leveraging the National Intelligent Connected Vehicle Innovation Center as a national-level innovation platform, the conference has primarily engaged in deep cooperation in six major areas, including jointly establishing industry standards, collaborating on major projects, forming strategic partnerships with customers, demonstrating scenario applications, sharing financing channels, and utilizing shared experimental equipment.
As an industry cluster for ICV, Beijing E-Town has gathered over 120 upstream and downstream enterprises in areas such as dual-intelligence applications, autonomous driving solutions, intelligent components, and automotive chips. It has also attracted a number of national-level innovation platforms.
Currently, the high-level autonomous driving demonstration zone in Beijing, with Beijing E-Town as its core area, has deployed over 800 intelligent connected vehicles. It has issued road test licenses to 29 automotive companies, accumulated over 25 million kilometers of testing mileage, and supported the implementation of demonstrations for eight major categories of autonomous driving scenarios.
In the future, Beijing E-Town will construct a hub of innovation in the ICV industry, comprehensively building itself as an automotive intelligent manufacturing area.
