The China Unicom IoT Terminal Pilot Verification Platform, independently developed by China Unicom Digital Tech in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Beijing E-Town), recently made it onto the "Catalog of Outward Opening Services of Central Enterprises' Pilot Verification Platforms (2025)" list.

This selection marks another national-level recognition for the China Unicom IoT Terminal Pilot Verification Platform, after being approved as one of the first key pilot platforms nurtured by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

This platform relies on the construction of the China Unicom 5G Industry Terminal Testing Center, focusing on promoting new industrialization and addressing the transformation and upgrading needs of "5G + Industrial Internet".

It aims to establish a seamless, mature, stable, reliable and consistent verification environment and capability from trial production, small-batch production to mass production. Additionally, it provides comprehensive evaluation services for the status of IoT terminal technology.

The platform has completed over a thousand product pilot verification services, covering the entire chain from core technology breakthroughs, R&D testing and pilot production to acceptance certification. It has served over 50 ecosystem partners, helping to create over 100 intelligent IoT terminal products. The platform has obtained national CNAS laboratory certification and has been recognized by the 5G application industry matrix innovation center of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT).

According to China Unicom Digital Tech, the company will further increase its investment in scientific innovation, IoT technology and product R&D to deepen its cooperation with universities and research institutions in industry-academia-research collaboration, continuously enhance the external service capabilities of the pilot platform, and promote the transformation and upgrading of the "5G + Industrial Internet" industry.
