Credit lines exceed $13 billion to enterprises in Beijing E-Town

Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Beijing E-Town) has recently signed strategic cooperation agreements with Huaxia Bank, China Minsheng Bank Beijing Branch, and China Postal Savings Bank Beijing Branch. Over the next five years, these three banks will provide credit lines exceeding 100 billion yuan ($13.93 billion) to bolster key projects and enterprises within Beijing E-Town.

This cooperation will focus on technology finance, green finance, and inclusive finance, with a primary focus on supporting high-tech enterprises, specialized, small and medium-sized enterprises, that are innovative and new and the key project construction within Beijing E-Town.

In the field of technology finance, the three banks will leverage their respective strengths to provide comprehensive financial services throughout the lifecycle for technology innovation enterprises. This will be achieved through various dimensions such as providing credit funds, equity funds, and intelligent matchmaking.

Besides technology finance, the partnership also emphasizes green finance and inclusive finance. The three banks will provide green financial services including green loans and green bonds in areas such as energy conservation, carbon reduction, clean energy, and eco-friendly urban development within Beijing E-Town. Furthermore, the banks will increase support for small enterprises through products like credit loans and intellectual property collateral loans to ensure the precise implementation of inclusive finance policies. Currently, Beijing E-Town has collaborated with the five major State-owned banks to establish six AIC funds, totaling 31 billion yuan in size.
