The Global Digital Economy Conference 2025 recently opened in Beijing, unveiling the "Top Ten Benchmark Applications in Beijing's Digital Economy" and showcasing the demonstration achievements of Beijing in building a global benchmark city for the digital economy. Beijing E-Town autonomous driving demonstration application was selected as one of the benchmark applications.

Focusing on the field of autonomous driving, Beijing E-Town continues to make breakthroughs with the integrated advantage of vehicle-road-cloud.

As the world's first high-level autonomous driving demonstration zone with vehicle-road-cloud integration, Beijing E-Town has accelerated the scale operation of Level 4 and above advanced autonomous driving vehicles by integrating "vehicle-road-cloud-network-map". It has also taken the lead in defining intelligent connected standards for intersections, and independently developed three-mode communication onboard terminal products.

The cloud control platform, serving as the operational "brain" of the demonstration zone, boasts powerful data access and processing capabilities. It supports intelligent connected intersection management, vehicle supervision, and promotes intelligent traffic control construction. In terms of application scenarios, it has been implemented in eight major application scenarios including autonomous passenger vehicles, unmanned delivery, and expanded to areas such as Beijing Daxing International Airport.

Currently, Beijing E-Town has achieved intelligent connected road coverage spanning 600 square kilometers and a smart city dedicated network. It has conducted testing and verification of intelligent connected vehicles with a total mileage exceeding 33 million kilometers.
