The 2025 World Humanoid Robot Games, the world's first comprehensive sports event featuring humanoid robots as the main participants, concluded in Beijing on Sunday.

The event featured 280 teams from 16 countries, competing over three days from August 15 to 17. The games included 487 matches across 26 events, encompassing competitive, exhibition, scenario, and auxiliary categories. The competition showcased cutting-edge advancements in humanoid robots, particularly in areas like intelligent decision-making and coordinated movement.

During the three-day intense competition, the "Beijing E-Town robot team" demonstrated formidable athletic prowess, frequently stepping onto the podium.

The Beijing E-Town team won 12 medals, including one gold, eight silver, and three bronze, across various events such as athletics, material sorting, martial arts, scenario-based handling, pharmaceutical sorting, and service skills.

Notably, in the running competition, the humanoid robot Tiangong Ultra was the only robot among all participants to use a fully autonomous navigation system, requiring no manual remote control throughout the event. This marks an upgrade from its previous use of UWB semi-autonomous navigation in the previous robot marathon conducted in Beijing E-Town, enabling real-time environmental understanding and autonomous motion planning in complex dynamic environments.

The World Humanoid Robot Games is not only a competitive platform but also an important event for showcasing global technological achievements and facilitating dialogue about future industries. As a significant hub for the robotics industry in the capital, Beijing E-Town's impressive performance in the event once again showcased its strength to the world. Looking to the future, Beijing E-Town will further accelerate its efforts to build a world-class pilot demonstration city for the embodied intelligent robotics industry.
