World's first robot consumer festival delivers impressive result

The 2025 "E-Town Robot Consumer Festival" recently concluded in the Beijing-E-Town.

As the world's first consumer event centered around robots, this festival saw total sales of robot-related products and local business districts exceed 330 million yuan ($46.11 million), with over 190,000 units of robots and related products

The consumer festival launched the innovative "E-Town robot consumption voucher",  strategically using financial subsidies to amplify economic impact and directly boost sales by over 70 million yuan.

Offline, the world's first embodied intelligent robot 4S store attracted significant attention securing high-value orders for premium humanoid robots. Orders exceeding 1 million yuan made up 25 percent of total sales within just 16 days.

Meanwhile, the online shop, JD.com, created a dedicated section for the consumer festival, achieving a 100 percent redemption rate for the consumption vouchers.

In addition, the consumer festival established an "online communication + offline experience" promotional loop, leading to continuous growth in brand exposure. A total of 827 domestic and international media outlets provided in-depth coverage, resulting in over 140,000 pieces of information across the internet. Among these, the festival achieved over one million exposures on overseas social media platforms.

The consumer festival not only invigorated the robotics market but also became a "powerful engine" for the regional economy. Beijing E-Town simultaneously launched several technology-themed interactive activities, including cutting-edge technology exhibitions and robot performances, continuously attracting consumers to stop and experience.

During the festival, the six major commercial hubs in the area received over 1.6 million visitors in total.

This year's Robot Consumer Festival has built a "highway" between technology and the market, marking a leap forward for China's robotics industry from "technology research and development" to "market application".

In the future, Beijing E-Town will continue to promote the deep integration of robotics technology with consumer livelihoods, facilitating the entry of robots into common households and building an open, integrated, and sustainable robotics consumption ecosystem.
