At a press conference on Aug 27, marking the fifth anniversary of the "two zones" initiative in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area, officials showcased significant progress in industrial development, foreign investment and trade.
Over the past five years, Beijing E-Town has pioneered the "E-Town model" through innovative institutional and mechanism reforms, with several initiatives gaining national and city-levels recognition, injecting strong momentum into the "two zones" development.
To enhance government services, the city established its first Bureau of Business Environment Construction. Simultaneously, Beijing E-Town introduced the Ten Actions to Optimize the Business Environment and developed the nation's first "four smarts" government service complex. This initiative aims to create a comprehensive "one-stop" service platform for the entire lifecycle of enterprises and the entire industrial chain.
Additionally, Beijing E-Town has constructed the city’s largest public intelligent computing center and launched the nation's first AI data training base. By providing access to high-quality data products, it supports enterprises in their digital transformation and intelligent upgrades.
In the future, Beijing E-Town will further create a world-class business environment and establish the area as a premier destination for cutting-edge global industries.
