The 2025 Pharmaceutical Digital Intelligence Development Conference—Sub-forum on AI Empowering Accelerated Launch of Innovative Drugs was recently held in the Beijing E-Town.

The conference gathered over 200 experts, scholars, and industry representatives from regulatory bodies, research institutes, medical institutions, pharmaceutical companies, and the information technology sector for deep integration and innovative application of artificial intelligence in drug development, registration and application, clinical research, and intelligent regulation.

The Bureau of Biotechnology and Health Industry of Beijing E-Town provided a comprehensive overview of the biotechnology and health industry in the area, highlighting the key industrial directions and development goals during the event.

To accelerate the full integration of AI into the healthcare industry, Beijing E-Town has accumulated over 50 companies, including AI medical enterprises, healthcare service providers, and new drug development firms. These companies will offer services for subsequent medical data management, and annotation.

Going forward, Beijing E-Town will continue to deepen the exploration and management of pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and medical data and further accelerate the establishment of a medical data base and a public technology platform for AI-enabled pharmaceutical research and development.
