To better serve the upcoming event of the 2025 League of Legends World Championship Play-Ins and the GT World Challenge this month, Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Beijing E-Town) will launch the "E-Town" racing-themed pilgrimage train in the Beijing-Hebei-Tianjin region.
Officially starting operation on Oct 14, the train will create an efficient viewing corridor connecting the three regions. This initiative promises to offer audiences an immersive new experience in watching these thrilling events.
The "E-Town" train, leveraging the Beijing-Tianjin Intercity Railway, utilizes the advanced Fuxing CR400BF-S and CRH380B train models to efficiently connect multiple locations across the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. Departing from Yizhuang Railway Station, passengers can reach Beijing South Railway Station in just 10 minutes and arrive in Tianjin within 25 minutes. The service also extends to cities in Hebei, including Tangshan and Qinhuangdao, creating a "one-hour sports viewing circle."
The train offers a unique mobile "event experience space" with four distinct functional areas designed to enhance the journey for sports enthusiasts. The interactive gaming zone features mobile e-sports stations, allowing passengers to engage in competitive gaming. The technology experience zone introduces robotic services, showcasing the latest in technological advancements. The cultural display zone exhibits event merchandise and provides cultural and tourism guides. Lastly, the themed dining bar area broadcasts live sports events, transforming the journey into a "prelude station" for spectators, setting the stage for an exciting viewing experience.
Meanwhile, the train is set to elevate passenger experiences by occasionally deploying "robotic recommendation officers" on board. These robots will suggest popular tourist routes, enriching the travel experience. Passengers will also receive the "E-Town Cultural and Tourism Gift Pack," and those with train or event tickets can enjoy exclusive discounts at partner businesses across the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
The "E-Town" train is more than just a convenient mode of transport for sports event commuters; it embodies the vibrant collaboration within the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. This innovative platform spearheaded by Beijing E-Town integrates technology, sports, and cultural tourism, showcasing the area's commitment to development.
Starting Oct 14, we invite citizens to board the "E-Town" train, traverse intercity distances, and converge in Beijing E-Town to witness the excitement of e-sports, the thrill of racing, and the vitality of urban growth.
