The 2025 World Intelligent Connected Vehicles Conference (WICVC) opened in Beijing E-Town on Thursday. As an important part of the conference, the 2025 China International New Energy and Intelligent Connected Vehicles Exhibition was held concurrently, showcasing over 200 vehicles and more than 1,800 components and related technologies. It is the largest exhibition in its history.
This year's exhibition, themed "Pooling Wisdom for Boundless Connectivity", features the first-ever closed-loop ecosystem exhibition for intelligent connected vehicles. It comprehensively showcases new technologies, products, and models in the field of intelligent connected vehicles from both domestic and international sources.
CARIZON, as one of the representative enterprises in Sino-foreign automotive technology cooperation, is participating in the exhibition for the first time.
CARIZON is a joint venture between Volkswagen's software company CARIAD and Horizon Robotics, leveraging the synergistic advantages of "foreign vehicle engineering capabilities + local AI chip technology". This allows them to precisely match the needs of models in China while effectively lowering the barrier for customers to access intelligent driving technology. At this exhibition, CoolReign is primarily showcasing its self-developed driving assistance domain controller products. These products enable point-to-point driving and parking assistance in both highways and urban areas. The new Volkswagen models equipped with these systems will begin mass production gradually from the end of this year.
Meanwhile, SemiDrive is showcasing products spanning areas such as intelligent cockpits and smart vehicle control.
In the Neolix exhibition area, star models such as the X3 container truck and X6 cargo van also attracted many visitors who stopped by for inquiries.
This year's exhibition has attracted 288 companies from the fields of complete vehicles, components, and related industry chains to participate. As the exhibition continues, Beijing E-Town is leveraging its comprehensive industrial chain ecosystem to propel China's intelligent connected vehicles from "demonstration applications" to "large-scale implementation."
