Beijing E-Town's 'AI 20 Policies' ignite industrial innovation

Since the launch of the "AI 20 Policies", policy incentives totaling over 126 million yuan ($17.9 million) have been distributed. This policy, by precisely targeting core segments of the industry and systematically nurturing an innovative ecosystem, has laid a solid policy foundation for the region's artificial intelligence industry to progress from concentrated development to deep integration and elevation in capability.

The "AI 20 Policies" target key bottlenecks commonly faced in the development of the artificial intelligence industry, such as high computing power costs, difficulties in model training, and slow implementation of applications. They provide comprehensive support across the entire value chain, from infrastructure to application ecosystems. Notably, the "Computing Power Voucher" policy directly addresses the core cost items of R&D, offering substantial financial subsidies to help R&D-driven enterprises reduce their burdens and accelerate progress.

Beijing Xinyun Xinwang Data Technology Co., Ltd., headquartered in Beijing E-Town, is one of the beneficiaries of this policy. Through the "Computing Power Voucher" policy, the company has effectively saved about 21 percent on GPU computing power procurement costs. This policy, with its reasonable subsidy ratio, sufficient support cap, and clear support direction, precisely addresses the core demands for R&D resources that enterprises have during critical growth stages.

In addition, the "AI 20 Policies" clause supporting large industry model implementation is fostering a wave of innovative solutions that solve real problems and create genuine value.

The appeal of the policy lies not only in its favorable terms but also in the ease of its implementation and the warmth of its services. In promoting the implementation of the "AI 20 Policies," Beijing E-Town focuses on creating an efficient and transparent service experience, enabling enterprises to concentrate on innovation without distractions. The area is using a "one model, one case; one industry, one policy" approach as a driving mechanism to build five support systems: elements, industry, platform, scenarios, and ecosystem. The goal is to transform Beijing E-Town into a city-level engineering experimental platform.

Currently, Beijing E-Town hosts over 500 AI industry chain enterprises and has established a 5,000P high-performance intelligent computing power platform. Additionally, construction has begun on Beijing’s largest single computing power center, with a planned capacity exceeding 30,000P. By creating an "AI Factory" with four core modules — computing power plaza, data mall, model supermarket, and optimization workshop — Beijing E-Town is committed to bridging the last mile in artificial intelligence development implementation.
