Within an area of approximately 60 square kilometers, there are a total of 116 medical and health institutions. Among them, there are five tertiary-level medical and health institutions (two State-owned), two secondary-level medical and health institutions (one State-owned), and one privately-owned primary-level medical and health institution.

The area has established a district-level center for disease control and prevention, an emergency sub-center, and community health service centers, which have close collaborations with the various medical institutions in the area.

Furthermore, the area welcomes the relocation of Beijing Tongren Hospital's main campus and the construction of a new division of Beijing Children's Hospital, continually improving and perfecting the public health service system, elevating the accessibility and equity of basic public services, and building diverse models of medical service mechanisms.
